Wow, this really resonated with me!! I actually started reading thanks to the Japanese Together challenge. At first it felt so hard, but little by little the grammar started to “click,” just like you described. I can’t quite call myself a reader in Japanese yet, but thanks to this challenge, I definitely had an eye-opening experience!
Reading in a foreign language can feel like a big challenge, can't it? At first, it really is. I remember how tough it was when I read my first novel in English. It was a struggle!
But with every page you turn, something amazing happens. Your reading speed naturally gets faster, and you start to understand how sentences are built without even having to think about it.
